The concept of microneedling is based on the skin’s ability to repair itself whenever it encounters physical damage such as cuts, burns and other abrasions. After the procedure, your skin will be red and flushed in appearance in a similar way to moderate sunburn. This will vary depending on the starting state of your skin. 1-2 treatments may be sufficient if you are looking for simple skin rejuvenation but for scar treatment, you may need more sessions.
